"Double Positive Anti-GBM and ANCA Along with Hyponatremia: Case Report"

نویسندگان

چکیده

On rare occasions, patients with Goodpasture’s syndrome (GPS) present both anti-glomerular basement membrane (GBM) and antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA). Concurrent ANCA anti-GBM disease is a high mortality rate. Here we case of (ANCA) complicated hyponatremia.

Crescentic Glomerulonephritis with Anti-GBM and p-ANCA Antibodies

We are presenting a case of renal failure with anti-GBM and p-ANCA antibodies positive. Patients with dual antibodies are considered to be a vasculitis-variant of anti-GBM antibody nephritis. These patients may have atypical presentation and it may delay diagnosis and treatment. Recurrence rate is higher in these patients. We reviewed the literature of cases and studies on cresenteric glomerulo...

Crescentic glomerulonephritis with dual positive anti-GBM and C-ANCA/PR3 antibodies

Antiglomerular basement membrane (anti-GBM) antibodies are more often accompanied by myeloperoxidase antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (MPO-ANCA) than by proteinase 3 antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (PR3-ANCA). Both disease processes can affect the kidneys and/or the lungs. Patients with dual positive disease may have an atypical presentation which may delay diagnosis and treatment. Here ...

Seronegative anti-GBM Disease with Coexistent ANCA Positivity.

Anti-glomerular basement membrane disease has been reported to coexist with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) positive vasculitis. Seronegative anti-GBM disease has been previously described and mostly blamed for the relative insensitivity of earlier serologic assays. A 58-year-old male was transferred to our facility for acute kidney injury. Prior to his hospital admission, the patie...

Combination therapy with rituximab and cyclophosphamide in the treatment of anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCA) positive pulmonary hemorrhage: case report

Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) with pulmonary hemorrhage is rare in childhood. Standard treatment includes corticosteroids and cyclophosphamide (CYC), which is associated with a high level of toxicity. We report a white female with ANCA positive pulmonary hemorrhage who was treated with cyclophosphamide (CYC) and rituximab (RTX) combination therapy.
